By the Numbers
We use UTM tracking to identify the source and path visitors take when visiting the AdSkills website. If you're creating a link that will be shared outside of the adskills.com website, it MUST HAVE UTM PARAMETERS. Here is a quick guide to adding parameters:
- Link = the page you're sharing (blog post, medium article, youtube video, facebook post, etc)
- Medium = the type of traffic that will click the link. For example, social, ppc, email, etc.
- Source = where the traffic is coming from. For example, Facebook, Youtube, WebsiteName.com, etc
- Campaign Name = what is it that you're promoting? For example, PixelsClicksROIep8, RetargetingRecipesbook, VideoTrainingName, etc.
Once you have that long (and ugly) link, you have to shorten the URL.
For now we're using (insert name of tool and hyperlink) to shorten our URLs.
